With layers of gritty slide-guitar paired with a Mississippi hill-country backbeat, "Bones" envelops the power and draw of music to a place of sanctuary. Matt adds, “Music can inspire us, have us bask in nostalgia and maybe above all, aid as an outlet or a way of experiencing a little sense of things 'otherworldly' and what we can't exactly pin down.”

Rooted in the Blues, the eerie and the sometimes plain inexplicable, the track takes us back to the hypnotic boogie Blues sound reminiscent of Hill Country's founding Father, Mississippi Fred McDowell and propels us into the 21st Century.
